Meet our CEO, Mark Saunders, a highly accomplished and driven REALTOR® with a passion for real estate and a commitment to excellence. After graduating from Appalachian State University, Mark embarked on his full-time real estate journey in 2005, carving a path of success and growth within the industry.
Mark's dedication to the REALTOR® community is evident through his active participation on the Board of Directors for both the Winston-Salem Association of REALTORS® and the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®.
Additionally, he has been an integral member of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network, holding esteemed positions as vice chair in 2014 and chair in 2015.
In 2012, Mark's expertise in technology and real estate was recognized, and he was invited to teach a class at the local REALTOR® association on current technology in the real estate industry. The class quickly sold out within days and proved a resounding success.
This experience inspired Mark to establish his own real estate school, The Real Estate Brokers Academy, where he developed and wrote multiple courses for the NC Real Estate Commission. His commitment to sharing knowledge and advancing the industry led him to become a sought-after speaker, delivering engaging talks in over 30 cities every year.
Mark has been honored to speak for prestigious organizations, including the National REALTORS® Association, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, the NC Secretary of State, and the NC and SC Associations of REALTORS®.
In 2022, Mark's exceptional business acumen led to the successful sale of Saunders Property Management to a large multi-state property management company. The following year, he launched Saunders HOA Management, aiming to elevate the industry standard of HOA (Homeowners Association) management services.
Taylor Petty
Community Manager
Taylor Petty supports HOA communities with care and professionalism. As a Community Manager, she helps homeowners and board members address questions, resolve concerns, and connect with the resources they need. Her friendly approach and commitment to service make her a valued member of the Saunders HOA Management team.
Gerald Galera
Maintenance Coordinator
Gerald Galera coordinates the maintenance work-order process, making sure requests are entered accurately and dispatched to the appropriate vendors. He follows up with homeowners and vendors to confirm that work is completed in a timely manner, helping keep maintenance requests organized and moving forward.
May Chu
Homeowner Specialist
May Chu helps homeowners stay informed through regular follow-up and communication. As the primary contact for homeowner account questions, she provides information and assistance to help residents understand their accounts. May also oversees collections, delinquent accounts, and violations, helping homeowners stay up to date on account matters and community requirements.
Khennedy Capili
Systems Coordinator
Consistent HOA management starts with reliable systems and clear processes. Khennedy Capili monitors day-to-day systems and workflows to help operations run smoothly. She reviews processes to confirm that each step is completed and documents procedures so the team can deliver a consistently high level of service every day.
