Roof Questions
Q: Can I add a satellite dish to my roof?
A: No. Satellite dishes can not be added to any roof.
Q: I need to replace my roof. What do I need to know?
A: You must submit a request and your roof must be the same color and must have Architectural Shingles.
Q: Are there certain rules about the type of roof I can have?
A: Yes it must have architectural shingles.
Fence Questions
Q: Are there rules about fences I need to know about?
A: Yes, fences are not allowed in the front yard. Fences can not extend past the back corner of the house.
Q: If I do work that is not approved what could happen.
A: You could be asked to remove the work and be fined until it is removed.
Long Creek Village Architectural Request Process
Please Read This Form BEFORE You Submit Your RequestIf you're looking to do an architectural change to your property in Long Creek Village, your request must be approved before any work is done.
Please use this form to submit the request to the Architectural Review Committee for approval.
Please follow all instructions on the architectural application. Incomplete applications will automatically be denied. If you have any questions about the application or process, please email lcvarcnc@gmail.com.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for a response from the committee.

• Actual COPY of recorded property survey with detailed measurements of the location of proposed changes or additions clearly shown.
• The Photos of samples of structure requested (hand drawings NOT acceptable)
• Detailed plans or drawings, including three (3) views (front, top, side), must show architectural detail.
• Landscaping details (types of plants, quantities, additions, removals).
• Fence Applications must include the signature or email from the adjoining property owner indicating agreement with the fence's location.
• Shed colors and roofing color must match the home and roof color. Supply a color sample.
• Sheds must be placed 3 feet off the property line per Winston-Salem building code. Also, a Winston-Salem Permit will be required.
